The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has dedicated a bakery for the Redeemer’s College of Technology and Management.
The bakery which is located at the premises of the institution Queen Esther Hostel, Redemption City of God, is expected to produce fresh tasty bread, with the brand name Palinia which comes in family loaves, mini loaves sizes in wheat, coconut and sardine.
Adeboye who was represented at the occasion by the National Overseer, Pastor Sunday Akande, lauded the business concept, describing it as another milestone achievement of the institution.
He said the vision is scriptural because bread eating is a sign of strength, fellowship and covenant with God.

The General Overseer called for the best use of Rectem Bakery so it would serve the purpose for which it was established, especially meeting the expectation of their customers.
“I want to thank God that our vision to have this bakery. It is another way to make sure the people are sustained. It’s a form of covenant with God. That’s why Jesus Christ said in the book of John chapter 6 that ‘I am the bread of life,’ meaning when we talk about bread it has a spiritual correlation,” Adeboye stated.
The formation of the bakery was in a partnership between Rectem and Pastor Aremo Igbekele. In his speech of appreciation, Igbekele, who was elated by the presence of the cream of dignitaries said the journey of the bakery started in January but received divine speed with the cooperation of Rectem’s Rector Pastor (Mrs.) Stella Mofunanya. The breads, according to Igbekele is price friendly and made of special ingredients for nutrient.
After the tape cutting, the guests were conducted round the bakery operational rooms for inspection.

Dignitaries at the occasion include Pastor J.F. Odesola, the chairman Rectem Governing Council, Pastor Ben Ajayeoba, Dr Teju Bolujoko, Pastor Mrs. Victoria Adeyemo, Pastor Mrs. Obademi Mercy, Pastor Adesanyo S.O. (HOD Hallelujah House National Prayer), Dr Assaloh Redeemer’s health Centre with Evangelist Segun Okeowo amongst others.
The college management ably led by amiable Rector Dr (Mrs.) S. I. Mofunanya, followed by Dr T.A Olaniyan deputy Rector (Admin) Mrs. C.Y. Alonge (AG Deputy Rector Academics) Mr. Austin Okoh, the College Registrar Mr. Timothy Ayanda, The Liberian, Mr. Felix Oyewole the College of Bursar and Dr. Sunday Onjewu, the Director of Entrepreneurship.
Rectem staff, students and some camp dwellers were also at the dedication.
