The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye has commended his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Adeboye for her unflinching support in ministerial assignment, describing her as a woman who he could do anything to appreciate her love and sense of dedication.
Adeboye made this remarks yesterday during 75th birthday celebrating God’s grace over the life of his wife, the Mother-in-Israel of RCCG.
The revered cleric went on a memory lane to narrate on how his wife endured difficult times with him and stood firm through ups and downs in his ministerial journey. According to him, his wife loyalty would not allow him to spare anybody who tries to rubbish her.
The man God, referring to a man who recently went on social media insulting and accusing him of engaging in diabolic method in ministry, wondered why a normal person would attribute the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan. He said the greatest sin any person can commit in life is a sin against the Holy Spirit which attract eternal damnation.
“Somebody said, Pastor Adeboye is getting the power he uses from some demons at Redemption camp, some people said are you not going to answer this one that is lying? We should be praying because this man is committing an unpardonable sin.
“When somebody begins to give glory of the Holy Spirit to demons, that’s what Jesus said, that’s what they said about Jesus they said He is casting out demons with the power of demons. Jesus Christ said well, the fellow is not only doomed in this world but doomed in the world to come. So when you hear someone say that kind of thing you should just pray for mercy for such a fellow.
“As rich in mercy God is, you cross that red line you’re gone so they are all kinds of people who have been mocking us, talking all kinds of rubbish but they have been so careful they didn’t mess around with my wife because if they do, you will read about it in the news. I love you, you’re my children, my friends and as long as you don’t touch my wife. I can’t take that, you mess around with my wife, there’s no begging, you won’t even be around to do the begging, it’s as simple as that.” the man of God stated.
At the event, relations and friends of the celebrant, Pastor Folu Adeboye, fondly called Mummy G. O gave tributes of her good deeds and wish well for the rest of her life.
Dignitaries in attendance include, Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, Reverend Mrs Dolapo Adelakun of Victory International Church, Ibadan, Mr Thomas Otom, a profound businessman, General Overseers of other ministries, senior pastors in RCCG among others.
Earlier, President Bola Tinubu has praised Pastor Folu Adeboye, for her Christian virtues, devotion to her highly-respected husband, the church, and family values.
President Tinubu, in a press statement signed by his Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Mr. Dele Alake, noted with admiration many of the outreach programmes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God targeted at rehabilitating drug addicts and the poor spearheaded by Mrs. Adeboye.
“I celebrate this Godly woman, Pastor Folu Adeboye, on the occasion of her 75th birthday. We are inspired by her devotion to the work of God, family values, and the downtrodden among us.
