The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye has announced the approval of the ordination of cadres of ministers in the church.
Adeboye said this while conveying the decisions of church Governing Council during the ministers’ conference held at the Redemption City of God.
The man of God said a total number of 8, 499 deacons and deaconesses, 4,326 assistant pastors and 1,896 full pastors were found worthy for the ordination during the 71st convention of the church.
In the same vein, 76 long standing and faithful ministers are set for ordination as honourary elders.
Meanwhile, the Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC) has graduated 6052 students on the first day of the convention. RCBC is the leading training arm for pastors in the church.
Ordination in RCCG is sequel to fulfilling certain criteria ranging from being born again, spending a minimum of 4 years as a worker in the church, obtaining school of disciples or Redeemed Christian Bible College certificates and recommendation of being godly conducts among others.
