An illustrious congregation of dignitaries, renowned religious leaders, close friends, and beloved family members gathered on September 27 to honor Bishop David Oyedepo on his momentous 70th birthday celebration. An awe-inspiring assembly of guests, swathed in pristine white and blue attire, converged at the resplendent headquarters of Living Faith Church Worldwide in Ota, Ogun State, to share in the euphoric birthday celebrations of Bishop David Oyedepo, whose 70th anniversary was marked with pomp, pageantry, and an air of jubilant festivity.
As a testament to his unwavering devotion to God’s work, Bishop Oyedepo had requested that his followers bring souls to Christ as birthday gifts in the days leading up to the celebration. Yet, in recognition of his selfless service and impactful ministry, the esteemed cleric received an outpouring of love in the form of numerous gifts, including a lavishly appointed Rolls Royce Cullinan and a staggering 1 billion Naira donation to provide sustenance to 50,000 individuals at Canaanland.

In his remarks at the event, Oyedepo said, “I give glory to God. I am a representative of the icon of icons, who is Jesus; my glory and lifter of my head. I am simply fronting for him. He is the one behind the scenes working 24 hours every day. A man cannot be any more than the grace of God at work in him. I will never pose to be an achiever but one who is a beneficiary of God’s grace.”
Bishop Oyedepo’s wife, Dr. Faith Oyedepo, beamed with pride as she spoke of her husband’s admirable character and the joy of being his spouse. With a heartfelt declaration of her love and admiration, she affirmed her hope to be rewarded with a celestial mansion alongside her husband in the Kingdom of Heaven.
