The Planter, Christ Apostolic Church, Adamimogo Grace of Mercy, Prayer Mountain, worldwide, Prophet Olu Alo has commended the idea by the South West leaders to pool resources together to develop the railway transportation system in the region.
Alo remarked that the move will not only boost the economy of the states but will importantly provide job opportunities for the teeming youth.
He gave the commendation at the burial reception in honour of his father, Pa. Joseph Omowaye Alo in Ido Ekiti, Ekiti State recently.
Alo, in a statement, advised President Tinubu to ensure that his political appointees perform optimally to achieve the goals his administration has set to revamp the economy.
As part of his Ministry’s Corporate Social Responsibility, the foundation of a maternity hospital for the members of the community was laid among other donations.
The Cleric, who admonished Nigerians to be patient with the current administration, advised the government to create food depot where the government would be selling raw food to Nigerians at subsidised rate to cushion the effect of skyrocketing cost of living.
Notable personalities at the event were Attorney-General, Ekiti State, Dayo Apata (SAN); wife of former Ogun State governor, Mrs Olufunke Daniel; former National Youth Pastor, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Pastor Anu Ojo; Ogun State and Benin Republic Essien Regional Superintendent, Pastor Isaac Eyebiokin among others.
Recall that a coordinated body of professionals and experts, known as the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN), popularly known as the DAWN Commission has canvassed for execution of developmental projects in south west region.
