As Nigerians continue to adjust their expenses following the government subsidy removal and the subsequent economic challenges, a Lagos based cleric has enjoined Nigerians to be patient and think outside the box.

Founder, New Seraph, Faith Mission C&S Church, Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye disclosed this at a news conference held on Tuesday to herald the 5th edition of the Night of Divine Experience (NODE 5.0).

She said, “This is the time to think outside the box. And, this is the time to be realistic about our lifestyle.

Themed ‘Go Ye,’ the annual programme, which will hold between August 14 and 18 at The New Seraph Prayer City, Ode Remo, by Sapade Overhead Bridge, Ogun State.

Yomi-Sholoye advised Nigerians to cut down their social life expenses when and where possible in response to the economic challenges.

According to her, it will take a while for Nigeria to gradually get out of the current economic realities.

She urged the government to consider the sufferings of the masses, and take proactive actions towards addressing the country’s economic challenges.

According to Yomi-Sholoye, the youth are the future of the church, and by extension the nation. “We want them to live the life of Christ”.

Speaking on the essence of evangelism to the church, she said soul winning is very important. She said further that if citizens are depressed, soul winning might be difficult.

She therefore disclosed that the church has been commissioned by the Lord to win souls in populating God’s kingdom.

“Five years of unrelenting efforts towards populating God’s Kingdom – Glory be to Jesus.

“At NODE 5.0, there will be unending prayers, life changing seminars and other impactful sessions from morning through afternoon till evening and all night.

“Night of Divine Experience is a vigil of fervent prayers and undiluted word of God,” she said.
