The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Possibility Model Area has been dedicated by the National Overseer, Pastor Joseph Obayemi on behalf of the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
The church dedication took place on 12 June, 2021 at Asese, Ogun state making it one of the five churches dedicated on that day.
During the occasion, the National Overseer commended the parishioners for a job well done stating that the name of the parish was one of the things that attracted him.
He said “two things attracted me here this morning, the name of the church Possibility model parish. The second thing is how lively you are. I can see the joy of Almighty God in your life and that joy shall be everlasting in Jesus name.”
After rounds of prayer, Pastor Obayemi preached from the Bible text Ps127:1.
The pastor in charge of the Area, Pastor Olusegun Akinola while giving a brief account of how the parish started said the parish was almost taken by “local land grabbers” during the time of Pastor Lamina (the pioneer pastor) but God intervened adding that “pastor Lamina fought for the growth of the church despite several obstacles and challenges such as fallen roofs.
“When the parish was penciled down for dedication it appears as an insurmountable task but we thank God of Possibility for what he has done, for it is marvelous in our sight.”
Others who were present at the occasion included Pastor Akinmulewo Obed (PIC of Lagos Province 51), Pastor Emmanuel Mesioye (APICP Admin), Pastor Charles Akoh (APICP CSR), Pastor Kayode Adeyanju (PIC Covenant Zone), Pastor Wole Oyeleke (PIC The Truth Zone), Pastor Kehinde Odukoya (PIC Glorious Trinity Zone).
