Dream-like miracles, testimonies and overflowing joy were some of the dedication gifts received by worshipers who came from far and near to witness the dedication of three Church buildings in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos Province 58, Ikorodu, by the Continental Overseer, African Continent 3, Pastor J.F Odesola.
Pastor Odesola who is also the National Officer-in-Charge of Admin and Personnel of RCCG, spoke on ‘’The House of the Lord’’ where he used Psalm 122:1 as his text. He explained that apart from healing, breakthrough, miracles, victory, joy, mercy, God answers prayers in the House. According to him, regular prayers, believing the prophets of the house, taking one’s challenges to the Lord, sanctifying the altar of the Lord, are ways by which the Almighty God shows Himself mighty in the House.
The Pastor-in-Charge of Region 26, Pastor Nath Adejuwon, who led Pastor Odesola and Pastors-in-Charge of Lagos Provinces 58, 22, 33, 63 and 41 to the dedication centres thanked the Lord for making the day a reality.
The Pastor-in-Charge of Lagos Province 58, Ikorodu, Pastor Godwin Obadan, was full of joy that the three Zonal Headquarters of RCCG Revelation Chapel, Sunrise Chapel and Breakthrough Parish, were presented in record time for the dedication.

The Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of Admin, Lagos Province 58, Pastor Gabriel Obafemi, who also doubles as the Pastor-in-Charge of Revelation Chapel, resumed at the Parish in 2016.
Pastor Obafemi who shared his thoughts about giving the existing auditorium befitting architectural design, led the worshipers in purchasing another plot in 2019 and the church edifice began in earnest in 2020 with the support of the Province, led by Pastor Godwin Obadan. The building is on a three plot land and has a children’s department, main auditorium and offices built to taste.
Sunrise Zonal Headquarters is another story of God’s mighty touch. Sunrise started in the year 2000 from a house fellowship unit in the house of Pastor Anifowose who gave the current land occupied by the Zone to the church.
For RCCG Breakthrough Zonal Headquarters, the foundation of the new Church Auditorium was laid in the year 2003 by Pastor Dan-Habu and Pastor Akande. They were transferred while the project was ongoing. The Congregation eventually moved to the new auditorium when the ground floor was completed in 2005. Late Pastor Alade was the Pastor-in-Charge of the Area and Pastor Wale Olaopa took over as Pastor-in-charge of the Area in 2008.
Breakthrough became a Zonal Headquarter in the year 2009 with Pastor Joseph Idowu as the Pioneer Pastor-in-Charge. During his tenure, the first floor was completed and the congregation moved upstairs while the ground floor became the Children’s auditorium.

It was during Pastor Joseph Idowu’s tenure that Maternity Centre, now known as Faith Home, was established. As years went by, Breakthrough Zone was moved from Lagos Province 22 to RCCG General Assembly, Lagos Province 58.
Pastor Babatunde Olatunbosun took over as Pastor-in-Charge of the Zone in the year 2018. During his tenure, the church project such as: the Pastor’s office, the toilets, the tiling of the staircases and the children auditorium, and the overhauling of the generator, were some of what God used him and the worshipers to upgrade.
Awards were presented to Pastors Samuel Oruo, Ibikunle Ibitowa and Gabriel Obafemi by worshipers during the RCCG Revelation Chapel dedication.
At the event were: Pastors Seun Aderibigbe APICR Region 26 and PICP Lagos Province 22, Akin John of Lagos Province 41, Ajani Kayode of Lagos Province 63, Lolade Salami of Lagos Province 33 and Senior Pastors from across the Region.
