What exactly am I striving to explain? No one ever achieves anything enduring without strategy. Even in war times, battles are not won by strength alone. They are won by superior strategies. A strategy is a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim. You can describe a strategy as a master plan, grand design, game plan, or simply a plan of action. Every known successful organization, whether private or government-owned, has a strategy. In like manner, if you are going to achieve great exploits, you are going to need a good strategy to get there (Proverbs 16:3).
Therefore, as a child of God, you must have a strategy (plan) to achieve the success you desire through the grace God has released on you. God is strategic. He doesn’t do things for the fun of it; even while creating the world, the scripture recounts how He worked with a seven-day plan. God is omniscient, omnipresent and eternal. Therefore, He knows everything about everybody in the past, present and future. Wow, how do we package that in our space-time continuum?
SET OUT WITH A WINNING MENTALITY
Plan to succeed!
Speak positively into your life. What are your expectations this year? Are you expecting to do greater exploits? Do you plan to succeed? Then declare them for the Lord to hear – Numbers 14:28.
Be positive in all that you do. Declare positive things to yourself. What you see with your mind and confess with your mouth determines what you get – Genesis 13:15.
What can you see? Are you seeing the economy or are you seeing what the Lord is saying?
See progress, see fulfilment. As far as you can see, God will give it to you. The winning mentality is something you can use in many aspects of your life; be it in your professional career or in your relationships, including everything else in between. It is also a mentality that you can develop.
Winners know they won’t get where they want to be by staying in the same place, so they constantly seek to improve. For them to win, they know that each day they have to become better than they were the previous day. It is mainly not even about the competition; it is about being the best they can be. And they know that the only thing that can limit how far they can go is their mind.
With a winning mentality, you will relentlessly break barriers that stop you from improving. Do what makes you uncomfortable and grow beyond your comfort zone.
TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS
Don’t procrastinate! Procrastination, they say, is a thief of time, therefore, whatsoever you decide to do, please start now. Start with the level you are at now and the grace of God embedded in you; with diligence, success is sure!
Ephesians 5:16 says, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil”. We are on a mission to redeem the times. Whatever He drops in your heart, do it! Explore opportunities and do not sleep on them.
The truth is that any idea God gives you now is not released for you alone; it would have been released to several others as well and if you don’t act on it, you will soon discover that your idea(s) or vision(s) has been carried out without you. Therefore, leave your comfort zone and act, dear friend. I see God helping you fulfil all the things He has deposited into you via His grace in Jesus name.
SEEK HELP WHERE NECESSARY
God commanded us in His word to ask from Him whatever we want and it shall be granted (John 14:14). He also reiterated that up until now, we have not asked Him for anything (John 16:24). Ask God for divine helpers and that He should link you up with destiny helpers (Matthew 7:11).
Don’t keep mute, ask and keep asking until God responds to your request. Somebody says: PUSH – Pray Until Something Happens. Helping you is what God is capable of doing. So, don’t keep mute; open your mouth and talk to those people God has surrounded you with. Tell everyone what you do, the connections you need and they can help you as the person next to you could be the solution to your problem.
Seek help! Ask for divine favour; favour from God and man, and be assured that you will get it (Psalm 121:1-2).
