The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has created 33 new Provinces in Nigeria.

This was announced by the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye during the 70th Convention ministers Conference held at the Redemption City.

With this new creation, the total number of Provinces in Nigeria has risen to 375. By Nigeria geopolitical spread, South West consisting of Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo States has 201 Provinces with Lagos accounting for 103.  South South (also known as Niger Delta region) consisting of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, and Rivers States has 81.  South East consisting of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States has 20.  North Central consisting of Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, and Plateau States, as well as the Federal is having 52 With FCT accounting for 17.

Others are North East consisting of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe States having 7 Provinces and North West consisting of Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara States attributing for 14. This figure also accounts for the 14 youth Provinces in the country.

Also, the distribution of the Provinces to Regions has risen with additional 7 newly  created Regions. The total Regions now stand at 42.
