Commissioning at RCCG Royal Priesthood, Someke village, Obafemi-Owode LGA, Ogun State.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ogun Province 22, Ofada, commissioned water boreholes for the use of five different communities on the 16th January, 2024.

The Christian Social Responsibility project was at the instance of Pastor Ebenezer Idowu Ibijoju, the Assistant Pastor in Charge of Administration in the Province, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
Commissioning the projects, Pastor in charge of the Province, Pastor Ode Idowu Peter, thanked God for the opportunity of the church to impact her neighbourhood and expressed gratitude to the donor for the kind gesture to impact lives.

He said: “I want to say the project has really met the need of the communities because they are really in need of water. We want to bless the Lord for the Pastor, the man of God that God Himself has used to do this project for the communities, Pastor Ebenezer I. Ibijoju, who is the APICP Admin for RCCG Ogun Province 22, and he has done it to mark his birthday today. So, please, let us remember to pray for him.”

Pastor Ode urged the people to ensure good maintenance of the projects and prayed for God’s presence to remain with the communities. Solar light was installed in one of the centres, RCCG Great Shower.

The commissioned boreholes are domiciled in parishes under the province. The names of the beneficiary parishes and their communities include RCCG Great Shower Parish (Imedu Olori street, opp. Car pack C, Mowe), RCCG Hope of Israel Parish (Yotomi, along Owode Road) and RCCG Royal Priesthood Parish (Someke Village off Owode Road). Others are RCCG Resurrection Parish (Oke-Oko) and RCCG Grace To Grace Parish (along Magbon Etido village), all located under Obafemi Owode Local Government in Ogun State.

As at the time of this report the donor, upon request by one of the beneficiaries, has concluded arrangement to install 3kva generator worth of N290,000 (Two Hundred and Ninety Thousand Naira) each to all the locations.
