The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ogun Province 22, recently held a welcome service for Pastor Ebenezer Idowu Ibijoju who was recently posted to the province as the new Assistant Pastor in Charge of Administration.
Addressing the congregation at the service, Pastor in Charge of Ogun Province 22, Pastor Ode Idowu Peter expressed his delight to receive the APICP and his wife, describing them a longtime family friends in the Lord.
Pastor in Charge of Peniel Zone, Pastor Olukayode Akinlofa, in his message, titled, “New Victory, Fresh Strategy”, charged the congregation to remain focus in the Lord for grace to overcome challenges ahead.
Taking his text from Isaiah 42:9, the man of God enumerated why adoption of God’s strategy is beneficial to Kingdom business.
According to him, the work of God before His ministers are mighty, noting that the challenges of life change everyday and that it is only the sovereign God that can pilot one to victory.
He concluded using Psalm 32: 8 for instructive and divine leading prayer points.
Welcome gifts were later presented to the new APICP by the Province as well as others.
Responding, Pastor Ibijoju appreciated the leadership of the province and members for the warm welcome service and their gifts.
He noted that his posting to the province is to work hard for the growth of the mission and urged other to cooperate with his office to achieve greater feat.
He promised to forward every fund he received during the welcome service to the ongoing new provincial Headquarters building project to demonstrate his commitment to the completion of the project by next Easter, 2024 in order to be ready for commission by the General Overseer by convention.
He therefore charged all to sit up for aggressive evangelism in line with vision 2032 goal.
