2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV
“Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
A healthy Christian is not a Christian in the Church, but a Christian in the faith. Self-examination is an antidote to self-limitation. Men can rate you higher than your real spiritual status. If you bank on people’s positive comments about your spiritual life, you might suffer spiritual bankruptcy.
Examine yourself to ensure you are still in Christ. Man will always be in something, it is either you are in Christ or Crisis.
People can pray for you to enjoy a miraculous life, but you have major roles to play when it comes to living a Christ-like life.
Examine yourself using the word of God. When the word of men inside of you is more the word of God, you might suffer spiritual fever. Meditate on the word of God, and immunize yourself with the word of God. Your spiritual worth reflects the word of God inside of you.
Examine yourself using fervent prayers. A prayerless Christian is already exposed to the spiritual virus. Pray when you feel like and pray when you don’t feel like praying. The more you pray, the healthier you will become spiritual.
Take personal responsibility today. Examine yourself, not others, you cannot be healthier in the spirit by examining others. Self-examination enhances spiritual strength.
Stop limiting yourself, just examine yourself. Don’t be too hard on yourself, just examine yourself.
As Christians, our goal is our faith; that is the only way we can please God. He 11:6.
Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and open your eyes. If you must be healthy in the spirit, there is a need for self-examination.
Delay is dangerous, action is key. Please go ahead and examine yourself.
