Another law you should maximize to your benefit is the law of attraction. This law states that you attract into your life the people, circumstances and events that are aligned with your dominant thoughts. There is a strong connection between what you think about money and what you experience. This simply means whatever your financial experiences are today, they are a reflection of the money thought you once nurtured. If you are able to change your money thoughts, you would have succeeded in changing your financial experience.
Start With Your Way of Thinking
The first place to start is your thinking. Your money thoughts determine your money experiences. Many repel prosperity by their pattern of thinking. If you think like the rich, chances are that your financial status will change someday to align with your way of thinking. On the contrary, if you keep thinking like the poor, the money thoughts that would have eventually changed your status will hardly find their way into your thinking faculty. That is because your negative financial experience has formed a stronghold against any information or money thought that could have transformed your financial life.
Many are afraid of prospering because they believe that people who are prosperous are doing something wrong; even though this is not true for all prospering children of God. It is the plan of God that all His Children should be prosperous and you are included in that plan if you can only change your way of thinking to align with God’s intent for your financial life.
The Problem With The One-Talent Servant
There is a major problem with the one-talent servant that the Lord Jesus talked about in Matthew 25. Everything stems from his negative way of thinking. The fact is, you cannot attract more opportunities, ideas and inspirations with a negative disposition. This was the problem with the servant with one talent.
- Wrong thinking about money
- Wrong thinking about his boss
- Refusal to learn from others
- Laziness
- A chronic and pathological lack of knowledge of the consequences of laziness in the life of his predecessors. Matthew 25:29.
Five Reasons The Rich Will Get Richer
- Positive mindset towards wealth – When anyone keeps a positive mindset towards money, he is more likely to attract wealth. The reason is simple: you attract everything you think about. The rich understand this and keep their minds positive towards wealth.
- Eagerness to work diligently and exceed expectations: The rich work more than anyone else and that is why they get richer. King Solomon said, ‘The diligent hand will bear rule”. That understanding is applicable in relation to wealth generation. It is never an experience for the lazy. To become wealthy, you must be willing to work diligently and exceed expectations.
- Creativity: Keeping a positive mental disposition helps your creativity. You cannot be negatively minded all day and expect to attract breakthrough ideas. This is another thing the rich do and why they will keep attracting breakthrough ideas that bring them more wealth. They keep a positive mental attitude in order to attract brilliants ideas.
- Generosity: Release what you have and what you need will be released unto you. In order to attract more, you must give more. Luke 6:38, you can only attract more by giving more. That is the way of the rich.
- Faithfulness: Faithfulness leads to credibility which is the greatest collateral. When you are faithful with little, you will be trusted with much. That is also because faithfulness increases credibility. People can trust you more. That was why Jesus said, “For unto everyman that hath, more shall be given, and he shall have abundance, but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath”. Until you are faithful to God with the little money you have, you will not be trusted with more. Proverbs 28:20. Faithfulness is the way to increase what you have. That is the way to attract more.
