A Perfect Man

Job 40:15-19 – “Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

Job 41:1-4, 10-11 – “Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?

Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever? None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?

Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.”

Job 42:1-7 – “And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.”

In God’s mercy, He visited Job and spoke to Job extensively. God in His graciousness, revealed His greatness and mightiness to Job. And one thing very unique He did, He gave Job the full picture, and the fierceness nature of who the enemy is and his name as Leviathan and Behemoth yet His Creator. Hence, Job was taught to rather fear God more than the enemy.

And Job pleaded and said he repents in dust and ashes, thinking he knew God. And uttered that which he knew not; and things too wonderful for him which he does not know. It is in your adversity you know more about God in truth and indeed. He will reveal Himself to you such that it will be an encounter to remember for all eternity. But you will be greatly blessed when you don’t fail in your steadfastness nor sin against Him in your situation.

The Lord also spoke to his friends and made all the corrections by Himself both to Job and to his friends. And He made Job to pray for his friends in order to unlock his blessings and forever testimony. Oh, what a merciful and righteous Judge our God is!

God’s eternal purpose and blessings in Job’s life.

Job 42:10-12 – “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and everyone an earring of gold.”

“So, the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.” The Lord restored the exact number of children Job lost to death to him again. And also restored double blessings to him.”

Meanwhile, before Job was afflicted, according to Job 1:3, he had seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses. But this time, because this is eternal blessings, it became double. Eternal blessings from God outweigh earthly blessings that are acquired through self-effort and ability.

God prepared His full package of restoration and eternal blessings and gave it to Job. And the most outstanding is that he lived to a full old age and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations. Loyalty and the fear of God are profitable!

Lesson two:

Beloved, if you are loved by God and he recommends you before your enemies, oppressors, haters, persecutors, and accusers, knows that you are in for a huge price to pay. He might recommend you through your boss at work, or your Pastor or G.O., or your parents (Genesis 37:3-4, Daniel 6:1-4).

But be readily prepared to pay a very costly price which is to face oppositions, prosecutions, hatred and hostility that will take you to your next level of greatness in Him. The timing is in God’s hands if you allow Him to take you through the processes. But the prominent features that would distinguish you is the fear of God and eschewing evil, faithfulness, and loyalty. As it was with Daniel which made him have the Spirit of Excellence.

Also, you must ensure you allow Him to empower and enable you in His grace and mercy not to fail Him through those He will use and permit to instruct you, to bring you to a place of perfection and fulfilment in Him (Daniel 6:1-28).

Beloved, are you paying a very costly price of hostility, opposition, and persecution presently because the heavens have recommended you? Don’t give up. Keep trusting God and keep hope and faith alive. Above all, remain loyal and trustworthy before Him.

God will surely remember you for good at His time appointed. He will restore and elevate you beyond your comprehension and expectations.

God’s Loving Heart.
