I want to thank God for delivering me from 9 years of academic delay and stagnation. I got admission into the university in 2015 February and I was supposed to graduate by September 12, 2018. Towards my final year, a lecturer just got up and said he was looking for me. I went to meet him, he didn’t attend to me, the next thing was he sent a message to me that, ‘I’m going to frustrate you and God punish you and your ministry’.
I thought it was a joke. The following year, I failed, the second year, I failed, so I went into prayers. Then, I also heard about the Youth Convention that was going to happen in year 2021 tagged, ‘Exceeding Expectation. So, I made up my mind I was going to attend and I made a vow to God that if He answers me and delivers me from the hands of my lecturer, that I will stand before the congregation and give thanks to God after my NYSC POP.
During the Friday of the Youth Convention, Daddy G.O announced to us that the November Holy Ghost service theme will be ‘The Appointed Time’ and that happens to be my name. So, I attended November Holy Ghost service online and Daddy G.O gave a word of knowledge; he said; “There’s somebody here, the Lord says you have been failing, you’ll not fail again.” I said, “Amen”.
I went back to school in year 2022 and I discovered that the lecturer whose course I failed was incapacitated; he was then relieved of the course and the course was given to another person. I wrote the exam and came out in flying colours and yesterday was my NYSC POP and I’m here to thank God. Thank you, Lord, for all you have done for me!
