Dr. Olukayode Akinwale, a respected Pastor and Head of Research and Development in the Directorate of Christian Education (DCE) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, recently celebrated two significant milestones: his 50th birthday and the launch of his new books titled The Science and Art of Biblical Interpretation” and “Educating Christians About What the Bible Actually Says”
The joyous event took place recently at the DCE Building in Redemption City of God, where family, friends, and colleagues gathered to celebrate this remarkable occasion and to honor Dr. Akinwale’s achievements.
During the celebration, Pastor Akinwale shared an inspiring narrative of his life – a journey marked by unwavering resilience and a steadfast commitment to God’s call. His story resonated with the audience, reminding them of the power of faith and perseverance.
The event was further enriched by the powerful words of exhortation from Pastor Timothy Olaniyan, Pastor in Charge of Region 53. Pastor Olaniyan praised Dr. Akinwale for reaching this significant milestone, attributing his success to God’s grace. He also commended Dr. Akinwale for being mentored by a great leader like Pastor Abatan.
Pastor Olaniyan’s words served as both an encouragement and challenge, urging the audience to follow the celebrant’s example and to work towards fulfilling their divine destinies. He emphasized the importance of understanding God’s will in this journey of destiny fulfillment.
In his message, Pastor Olaniyan shared practical advice to the celebrant saying: “Never disconnect from the source – the One who can help you fulfill your destiny. Right associations are key to fulfilling your destiny. Not everyone can be your friend. Be expectant that you will fulfill your purpose in life. Remain humble – never let achievements take you beyond humility.
