Redeemer's College of Technology and Management (RECTEM)

As part of a strategic initiative to position the Redeemer’s College of Technology and Management (RECTEM) among the world’s top educational institutions, the leadership of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has constituted an eight-member panel to conduct a comprehensive review of the polytechnic’s operations since its inception.

The panel is tasked with assessing RECTEM’s progress, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategic measures to elevate the institution’s global standing.

At the inaugural meeting held on Wednesday at the National Secretariat, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, General Overseer of RCCG, represented by National Overseer Pastor Sunday Akande, commended the panel members for their commitment to this critical assignment. He emphasized the significance of their responsibility, underscoring the need for dedication and wisdom in transforming RECTEM into a world-class institution.

Pastor Dele Balogun, Special Adviser to the General Overseer on Administration, formally introduced the panel, chaired by Professor (Mrs.) Olayinka Akinwusi, a Professor of Medicine at Osun State University. The panel comprises distinguished professionals from various fields, including:

  • Mrs. Funmi Oluroyo – Professional Secretary
  • Dr. Oluseyi Alakija – Redeemer’s University
  • Mr. Temitope K. Odunniyi – Olabisi Onabanjo University
  • Dr. (Mrs.) Kehinde Ogungbote – Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic
  • Professor Raheemi A. Morohunfolu – Lagos State University
  • Professor Pastor Ifeolu Koni
  • Pastor Remi Oluboba – Representing RCCG

Pastor Akande bestowed his blessings upon the panel, urging them to adopt a holistic approach to the review process. He further encouraged them to submit a comprehensive report by the end of March 2025, outlining key recommendations to enhance RECTEM’s academic and operational standards in alignment with global best practices.

Speaking on behalf of the panel, Professor Olayinka Akinwusi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and acknowledged the magnitude of the task ahead. She assured RCCG’s leadership of the committee’s dedication to executing its mandate diligently.

The inauguration was attended by key stakeholders, including Pastor Sunday Ojeun, Registrar of RECTEM; Pastor Olatunji Maclawson, Personal Assistant to the National Overseer; and Mrs. Adetoun Aremu from the Office of the SATGO Admin.
